Among the sadness

Yesterday we had a funeral for brads aunt Linda. It was a good one as far as funerals go. Lots of people said very nice things an brad said he felt really good about the day, since Linda was in a better place. During the funeral there was lots of prayers saying that hopefully Linda's passing will bring the family closer. So brad decided it would be a good idea to have a Petersen family gathering at our house. Everyone came minus Noelle, Cindy lets not forget there husbands or there cute boys! Also Aunt Shannon that I have heard so much about and unfortunately I'm not sure if I will ever get to meet. We sat in the backyard shooting the shit for the remainder of the day, while the kids played an fun was had by all (I think).
Brads family has been through some horrific things in there life but they are not letting those experiences hold them back, they are trying to learn from them. I am so glad that i get to have relationships with them. Lance an I have similar personalities so when ever I talk to him I just laugh. He can crack some dirty jokes and well so can I. I have been told I talk like a trucker, I say well that depends on the company I have. I don't really want to offend anyone. Well sometime I do just for shits and giggles. I always lived far away from my family so I am so glad my kids get to play with the cousins and know all the aunts and uncles. I love that they get to know there Great Aunts an Uncles too. Carla said the funniest thing yesterday, we were all spraying ourselves with bug spray(there is a ton of mosquito's in our backyard) and she said "oh I have to make sure I wash my pattie cakes before I put anything in my mouth" you cant tell she is a kindergarten teacher can you ha! An Kathy well she always has some great remedy for anything
so from now on I'm gonna be asking her instead of wasting pointless hours on the Internet
It turned out to be a very awesome day especially it starting out to be so shitty. I told brad we should certainly do this more often. The good thing about tragedies is that it brings families closer together as was proven yesterday.

Ansons 1st Birthday

Today is my babies first birthday. I'm so sad that he is getting big so fast. I know people say they grow so fast blah blah, but It honestly didn't feel like it with Izac or Jake. This years has flown by I'm not sure if its because Anson is my last baby or if I was just delirious with the other two. Anson is really the sweetest baby. Those big blue eyes just get me every time. Dont get me

wrong he is mean little shit, but so sweet at the same time. We bought him a castle and he just loves it. He plays peek a boo in it, its so funny. Izac want so bad to get in it but well hes way over the weight limit. Jake on the other hand is not so he takes full advantage of getting in it whenever possible. Anson crawls in it and flops right out if you were here for his birthday you know what I mean. He basically falls on his head every time he gets out but he loves. Well see how long the balls that are in it last. Considering the neighbors think our house is the park and take it upon themselves to come and bring all there friends to play with all my kids shit. But that's another story in itself. Enjoy the pics of my cute little shit!

Soccer, Gymnastics and standing on furniture

Jake is in soccer now. Its the funniest thing, that kid is just like his dad hes such a smart ass he really is. His first day meeting his coach they have a brief practice just so the kids get to know each others names. There kicking the ball though the "goals" as the coach calls them when Jake says "Ah coach these are NOT goals, there cones I have a goal at home an these are not it" He is the biggest kid on the team and the most talkative of course. He enjoys it though for the most part, when hes in the game when he is out he gets bored and asks when were leaving cause he is bored. Just picture Brad at 4 and that's pretty much Jake.

Izac has literally been begging me to take gymnastics seriously for at least a year now. I got off my ass an found a class for him. He honestly can barely contain himself the days he has it. He loves it more than anything. He goes and sucks up everything there saying like a sponge. He always talks about his Aunt Sara cause she took gymnastic for a while so he loves to compare himself with the stuff she can do. Its really great he has found something for him cause let me tell ya soccer wasn't it. Jack had to photo shop soccer balls in the pictures he took. Ha he would rather talk to the girls on the team.

My baby is growing up, it sucks! He is my last one and its just moving too fast.. Thank god for cameras though. He has 3 teeth now and he is standing up on everything. He just crawls so fast now he just doesn't waste anytime with movement. He is obsessed with mickey mouse clubhouse which is so hilarious as ever. He bounces in front of the TV, right in front of it so he can slap it with excitement. Anson does new things daily and its going to be interesting to see his personality as he gets older. He is ten months old today. Ten months honestly flew by.

All of our boys are so completely different. All I know is little Dutch and Anson are gonna be BIG trouble. Jake and Jorgen are gonna be just like there Dads, so that's a scary thought. Izac is.... well I'm not sure what he is going to be doing I think he will be the mellow one, he is for now. Who knew that after school activities would make my life so super busy I can hardly surf the web!

Updates.. ish

Ok so I have not blogged forever, I just haven't had shit to say really.. Here is a semi update i guess. We got another durango thank god, it almost killed me to not have a car all day long i mean seriously i can only clean so much not to mention i had to ask my neighbor to pick Izac up from school which was OK at first but then it got to be too much chatting an not enough cleaning i was starting to feel like a prisoner in my own home if someone knocked on my door i was ready to start answering it with a gun!
Anson started crawling on Friday which is so cute and a pain in the ass at the same time. He had his first illness EVER since he was born and holy shit i will tell you what it was pure hell. I could not leave the room without him screaming his head off, which for him is very unusual he is such a mellow happy baby. He just sits there while Jake screams at the top of his lungs in his face i have no idea why he finds such joy in that but he does. Its pretty funny the first three time but after that i just want to flick him and tell him to chill which is usually what ends up happening every damn day.
Izac is doing good in school, he has got some questionable friends that he doesn't know that he cant have over anymore. Ha these kids know more about drugs and feminine products than i did when i was 13 and there in second and third grade so ya I'm sheltering Izac for as long as possible. Me and there parents might have a confrontation who knows I'm not scared at all..
Brad is doing well also. He is no longer a kitchen manager at work cause blah blah some bull shit but whatever it works out better for us cause now he can work normal hours and get paid hourly again and I can work there not that that really matters anyhow i hate that job i would just a soon slit my wrists than go to work there but it pays well i cant decide which is worse Sconecutter or there. There both hell. But I work there despite my problems or thoughts of just sitting in my car smoking all day.. I like the people there better there all around my age in the front of the house but the back of the house is mostly Spanish speaking people which is why i bring my headphones ha ha. Well that is all for now that i can think of so I think if i can pull my head out, or my neighbors head out of my ass i will write more but I'm not making any promises!

Choices..

I don't really want to offend anyone but... there a few things i must say but i have to give some background info first.
I have lived in Utah on and off for quite sometime now. When I was about 8 i remember going to school and making friends and the first question i would get asked is "what ward are you in?" Ah ward? what is that i recall asking? its church. oh i would say, i don't go to church. Well my parents don't let me play with kids who don't go to church. So of course i was heart broken over this. I went home an told my mom who of course would be royally pissed about someone hurting her daughters feelings. I grew up thinking that anyone LDS were well basically A-holes. Of course now I know that was judgemental and stereotypical of me but I have had several bad experiences. Let me clarify, I am not saying that is how i feel now, that was when i was young.
Now that I am older, some of the same things occur with my kids (well Izac actually, since he is in school) I think it is completely unfair of parents to make there kids so close minded. I get judged because I have tattoos, I get the dirtiest looks when I were anything that shows them, now i realize tattoos are not for everyone I mean Brad is not by any means a fan of them but he loves me regardless. Does this mean I am a bad person? Does this mean my kids don't have morals, and they are going to be drug addicts, and felons? I don't think so I go to church on Sunday's and so do my boys but I don't force my boys to go, if they want they can If they don't feel like it that's fine also. I just get sick of the stereotypical judgements on what kind of a person I am. OK so I'm not LDS but ALL my in-laws are an you know what they don't treat me any different. I have to brag for a minute I have the greatest in-laws ever!! I love all my sister-in-laws, I see them more than most people in my family (except my mom). Everyone in Brads immediate family is super. Anyhow my point is that I want my boys to be open minded an except people for who they are, not what church they attend. When Izac was playing soccer, i had set up a play date with a little boy on his team and he was SO excited! I get to this boys house and his mom answers the door and she takes one look at my tattoos and i could tell she was mortified. Needless to say she conveniently never answered the phone again for another play date. I had to explain to Izac (without making him think the same thoughts as i had as a child) what had exactly happened here, which was difficult to say the least. I know I am a good person an I know that my kids have morals, they know right from wrong, and they don't judge people on there appearances. I just wish everyone would do the same. I have done alot of things in my life that I'm not necessarily proud of, but i wouldn't change any of them. The mistakes i made yesterday made me the person i am today, for that i am proud!! I am a very open and bluntly honest person and i like it that way. People either like me or hate me, but most of the time you wont forget me!
